The Diploma of Accounting offered by the Crown Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) is a 1-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) qualification that provides students with essential accounting knowledge and practical business skills.

Semester 2 Units:

  • BUS103: Accounting for Decision Making

  • BUS105: Economics

  • BUS107: Business Ethics

  • BUS104: Statistics for Business

Admission Requirements

Academic:

  • Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent secondary education; or

  • Equivalent full-time tertiary study.

English Language:

  • IELTS 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5), or

  • PTE Academic 50 (no communicative skill below 42), or equivalent.

Learning Approach

The program uses a mix of lectures, workshops, tutorials, and case studies, ensuring students gain real-world accounting experience.
